Impact Assessors is an established firm of independent consultant motor engineers and assessors. They needed our support to help them with their email setup on Microsoft Office 365, remote working for their employees and integrated 3CX VOIP phone system which allows them to work effectively from home.

Technical

As a consequence of measured service level agreements, we had to provide a resilient setup to enable their staff to work remotely without interruption to service.  Our solution to this requirement included multiple internet connections with differing providers, an uninterrupted power supply and a portable phone system.

Case Study

Chamonix Estates is an established provider of local estate and property management services. They needed our expertise to provide 3rd line support for their own on-site IT. Based in a converted barn in rural Hertfordshire, we were invited to suggest a telephony solution that could be used by up to 30 people as BT were unable to help. 

Technical

We arranged for a ‘rural broadband’ service to be installed to give them an internet connection with enough bandwidth for their 3CX VOIP phone system. This service uses long range WiFi technology to provide a service with the speed simply not achievable on a standard ADSL service located a long way from the exchange. Chamonix Estates asked us to provide a disaster recovery solution for their Microsoft Small Business Server.  We were able to offer them a robust solution that allows them rapid recovery of their business critical Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft SharePoint services.

Case Study

Arthritis Care is national charity with over 90 staff. They have offices in London, Glasgow and Belfast and also a number of home workers. We were appointed to provide them with an ‘Outsourced IT’ department as their full time in house IT had become an expensive, underutilised resource. We now provide an engineer on-site 3 days per week giving their London staff an on-site IT department. Regular visits to the regional offices keep problems under control too.

Arthritis Care staff and management alike regard us as their IT department. We are entrusted to make decisions on IT expenditure and are depended upon to maintain all of their IT systems.   We are directly involved with any departmental 3rd party software requirements and are often asked to deal directly with suppliers as a representative of Arthritis Care.
